The nesting doll of 5 pcs painted as different kinds of animals that can be seen in the zoo: a large elephant, a lion, a panda, a monkey and a small penguin. This design combines woodburned outlines and handpainting. It helps to create a clear and bright design that makes the doll a great gift to anybody who loves the animal world and nature. The nesting doll can also be used as an educational toy, a visual aid that will help to know more about nature, and a doll theatre for performing short stories.
Playing with a matryoshka doll, the child develops fine motor skills of the hands, learns to compare figures in height, size, color, volume, developing thinking and logic.
Materials: the nesting doll is made of solid linden wood, handpainted with acrylic paints and covered with safe water-based acrylic varnish. The wood is water-sensitive material, therefore it is not advised to wash the doll under the stream of water. It is better to use a wet cloth to gently wipe the details when needed.
The doll is created for children of 3 years age and older. If you decide to give the doll to a smaller child, it is better to hide the smallest dolls until the child reaches 3 years age. After that, you can return them to the set to update the game and make it more interesting and complicated for the child.
Please, note that any sizes and designs can vary due to handwork.
